1. Acceptance of Terms

  • Abuse the system: Attempt to hack, overload, or otherwise disrupt the Service
  • Post harmful content: Submit content that is illegal, offensive, harassing, or violates others' rights
  • Impersonate others: Pretend to be another person or use a misleading username
  • Spam: Send unsolicited messages or abuse the contact form
  • Violate laws: Use the Service for any illegal purpose

5. Certificates

  • Typing certificates are issued automatically when you achieve qualifying scores
  • Certificates are for personal use and may be shared publicly
  • Certificates earned through cheating or score manipulation are void and may be revoked
  • reserves the right to verify and revoke certificates if fraud is suspected
  • Certificates do not constitute professional qualifications or credentials recognized by employers unless they choose to accept them

6. Leaderboard

  • Your username and best typing scores may be displayed publicly on the global leaderboard
  • Scores achieved through automation, cheating, or manipulation will be removed
  • We reserve the right to remove any score we believe was achieved unfairly
  • The leaderboard is for entertainment and motivation purposes only

7. Intellectual Property

  • The website, design, code, logos, and content are owned by and protected by copyright
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our code, design, or content without permission
  • The typing texts used in tests may include public domain content and original content created for the Service
  • User-generated content (custom typing texts) remains your property, but by submitting it you grant us a license to use it in the Service

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • That scores are 100% accurate in all edge cases
  • That the Service will be available at all times
  • That your data will never be lost (though we take reasonable precautions)

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.

Yes, completely. All typing tests, lessons, games, and certificates are free. We do not have a paid plan or premium tier at this time. We sustain the service through optional advertising.

Yes. Many employers accept typing speed certificates as supplementary evidence of computer skills. Our certificates include a unique verification code employers can check. However, certificates do not constitute formal professional qualifications.

Using auto-typing software, browser extensions that type for you, physically typing in a way that artificially speeds up the test (e.g., pre-loading clipboard), or creating multiple accounts to dominate the leaderboard all count as violations.

For personal use, you may link to our pages. Embedding or copying our code/design without permission is not allowed. Contact us if you're interested in a partnership or educational license.

Contact us via the contact form with details. We take abuse reports seriously and investigate all reports. Accounts found in violation are suspended or permanently banned.
